Some initial thinking

 

The world we live in today is far different from our evolutionary history. We’ve traded in savannahs, close-knit communities and campfire stories for artificial concrete jungles, individual pursuits and social media one-upmanship.

Charles Darwin is credited as saying "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."

And we certainly live in a world that is rapidly changing. The question is in a world with unprecedented levels of anxiety, depression, poor diets, health disorders (and the list goes on), are we beginning to struggle to respond to this rate of change as a species? Is the world we’re creating becoming ‘unnatural’ for us?
